Home Decor Innovations (formerly Stanley Canada Inc.) of Brampton Ontario, is a manufacturer of mirrored closet doors and all appropriate hardware at this facility. They were experiencing difficulty loading some of the heavier dies into the press used to produce closet door hardware. The dies for this press were loaded onto the forks of a forklift truck then carefully pushed off the forks and onto the press bed. This process was not ideal as there was the possibility of the dies falling and being damaged.

They approached Trans-Quip Inc. to assist them in solving this dilemma. The result was a simple solution utilizing a SERAPID system. Three sets of mounting links were added, plus one set of removable bolster extensions and five mechanical ball bars for the press bed. The system allowed for ease of depositing and aligning dies before they are moved inside the press. This solution can also be used to bridge the gaps between the press and rail-bound die carts.
