Techno-Logic Machining Inc., of Moncton, NB, turned to Trans-Quip Inc. to provide them with a complete powertrain system for a machine they were building. The company, which specializes in sawmill equipment, had designed a wood accumulator system to allow a constant supply of wood to the feeder system. They required a system that would support and raise the platform to variable heights. By providing the company with all the components required for this machine, Trans-Quip was able to act as a “one stop shop” for the powertrain components. The complete system included four WJ62-8-UP-T2 screw jacks, two RC15-1 mitre gear boxes, one 133-MS-5-DO-56C gear reducer with base, and one 1½ hp motor. |
