ArrowCorp Inc., based in Winnipeg MB, is a leader in the design and manufacture of equipment for agricultural and industrial applications. A solution was required for a new piece of equipment — the gravity separator machine. The specifications required that this  machine separate grain, corn and other crops from outside debris and/or other environmental matter by passing the crops through a screen which is tilted at various angles.

Trans-Quip Inc. provided three Joyce machine screw jacks (WJ1000-7-UP-T3) which raises, lowers and tilts the screen in the separation process.

Incorporating screw jacks into the design of the gravity separator provides a single flexible solution and eliminates the need for farmers to have several pieces of equipment on hand to perform the various separating operations required.
