New Line of Linear and Integrated Actuators from Joyce

GRIMSBY, ONTARIO (July 27, 2004) Trans-Quip Inc. is pleased to announce that Joyce/Dayton has released of a new line of AC and DC Linear Actuators and Integrated (modular) Actuators. Designed from the ground up for durability and cycle tested for longevity, Joyce actuators come in load ranges up to 2000 lbs. and are available for quick delivery.
The new line is a natural extension of the company's 130-year history in the industrial jack market. "This new product line was demand driven", said Mike Harris, Marketing Manager for Joyce/Dayton. "Our customers were asking us to deliver a line of actuators built with the Joyce reputation for quality. Actuators in this load range are for heavy duty applications, so we designed the line from the ground up for durability especially in areas like the castings, mounts, screws and capacitors."
In addition, the Joyce/Dayton Actuators will be available for immediate delivery. "These actuators are engineered to standard ratings, voltages and strokes with the intention of stocking them for fast delivery", reports Mr. Harris. "We believe that a significant number of sales will be replacements for other brands."
Joyce/Dayton Linear Actuators will be available in 1500 lb. load range, in both 115 VAC, and 12 VDC, and in standard stroke lengths of 3, 6, 12 and 18 inches. A 500-lb. load range model is planned for release later this year. Integrated Actuators will be available in load ranges from 100 lbs. to 2000 lbs. in models with and without translating tube covers, and in standard stroke lengths from 3 to 24 inches.
