-- Latest Linear Motion Design Software Offers Advanced Features --

(GRIMSBY, ON May 10, 2005) - Trans-Quip Inc. is pleased to announce that Joyce/Dayton Corp., the premier manufacturer of screw jacks, actuators and speed reduction equipment, announced today the release of Version 2.0 of the company's popular JAX® Design Software.

The Windows®-based JAX V2.0 software, available on CD-ROM, is a complete source for jack selection and engineering data and includes all the information designers may need to specify the right components for applications. JAX software automatically selects the proper jack according to application conditions, or allows an alternate jack to be selected. Users can examine power requirements, stresses, and other application criteria. The JAX programming can store multiple jack selections, and can handle mixed unit systems.

Features of the new JAX V2.0 include:

• AutoCAD drawing files of jacks and accessories which may be dropped directly into a customer's own drawings.
• Custom System Configurations, which supports system design and generates a bill of material automatically.
• 3D Solid Models that can be viewed or downloaded.
• Request A Quote feature for expedited estimates.
• Automatic Updates to keep engineering data as current as possible.

Additionally, the JAX CD contains application solutions and an electronic version of the Joyce catalog. The JAX 2.0 CD is available free by calling 1-866-261-0251 or by requesting it at www.trans-quip.com.
