Porta-Vator converts a forklift into a powerful and efficient in-plant materials moving system.  Bulky loads of up to 120,000 lbs. can be moved easily using a small forklift.

The system consists of a heavy-duty steel, semi-mobile platform called a "porta-station" and a forklift hitch and adaptor ("porta-arm").  To connect the porta-station to the porta-arm, simply slide the forks into the hitch adaptor base.  Then snap-lock the porta-arm into the porta-station and you are ready to go.  Connections and disconnections are completed in seconds without the fork truck driver having to leave his or her seat.  An additional feature is that no motorized parts or steering mechanisms exist.  The system is easy, convenient and dramatically simplifies large materials movement.

The Porta-Vator is ideally suited to warehousing and industrial applications where the transport of heavy and bulky loads is an operational requirement.
