As part of an automotive body assembly line, this custom pneumatically-actuated lift demonstrates the lower maintenance benefits and systems expertise of Handling Specialty.

Each of the nine lifts have roller conveyors mounted on them. The conveyor, with a vehicle body on it, enters the workstation. The lift lowers and drops the body onto locating pins and then lowers again to allow clearance for four welding robots. Once welding is complete, the lift raises, engages the body and ejects it out of the system. The lifts are floor-mounted and enjoy a rise time of 5.81 seconds.
