Manufactured for A. G. Simpson, the 100,000 lb. capacity lift moves dies from the press area to a remote storage and rework department. Weighing up to 97,000 lbs. the dies were previously confined to the press area only. Loaded onto the Porta-Vator by a crane, a standard fork truck which is equipped with the innovative Porta-Arm accessory, locks into the lift's transporter. The transporter is then raised slightly and driven to the storage area, where unloading takes place. The Porta-Vator's maneuverability, fork truck compatibility, and quick disconnect lift-arm system makes this an ideal solution for transport requirements of ten to fifty tons. For A.G.
