Handling Specialty engineered-to-order a massive Cargo-Vator for lifting personnel and materials during the assembly of compressor rotors. This custom ball screw actuated lift provides access to the rotor assembly at various elevations and can rise a full 30 feet of vertical travel in 12 minutes. Platform movement is smooth and level throughout the range of travel.

The platform itself measures 20' x 20' and has a large circular cutout in the center for the compressor rotor. The platform comes with inserts to reduce the diameter of the opening when necessary. Special features include a removable guard rail to permit fork truck access for loading materials onto the platform and a 110V duplex outlet for personnel to use fans and small tools on the platform.

Safety considerations were very important in the design of this personnel lift. The platform has a checker-plate, anti-skid surface, full perimeter electric toe-guards, and a 3" kick plate. A ladder is fixed to one column for emergency access to and from the platform at any elevation.
