Handling Specialty Integrates Custom Lift with Railway Work Truck

September 23, 2002 (Grimsby, ON)   Handling Specialty recently engineered a custom hydraulic lift and integrated it with the client’s rail gear equipped truck for the servicing of box cars.  The platform lift has a vertical travel of 96” and accommodates 2 operators at a time to a maximum load of 800 lbs.  Both the upper lift platform and the lower fixed platform can extend up to 37.5” horizontally to allow closer contact with box cars for lubrication, repair and removal of doors and hinges.
