Thomas Beach Promoted to Executive Vice-President

GRIMSBY, ONTARIO  (August 29, 2002)  Handling Specialty, a firm specializing in the design and manufacture of custom lift equipment, recently announced the promotion of Thomas Beach to Executive Vice-President.

This promotion recognizes his role as my chief executive, as an Officer and as a Shareholder of the Company.”

Thomas Beach has extensive experience with over 18 years served at Handling Specialty.   He began his career as a Technical Salesman and was promoted several times, attaining the position of General Manager three years ago.  As General Manager he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Handling Specialty corporate group of companies.  As Executive Vice-President, Thomas will continue to hold responsibility for these companies.
